The Power of BNI….
I have a 2006 Lexus. The check engine light has been coming on and off for the past 3 years. I’d taken it to (2) mechanic shops before to find the problem . Both shops could find nothing wrong. Last month the light came on as usual but this time it did not go off. I took it to our local Toyota dealership and I was informed that I needed a new engine ($7,500). I was advised to pay the money to fix it or trade it in for a new vehicle (which meant a car payment because my Lexus is paid off).
My wife Erin said that I should have Curtis Evans (Evan’s Automotive-Perdido Chapter BNI) look at it. She trusted him and knew he would be straight with us. Curtis called and advised me that yes indeed my Lexus needed a new engine. But Curtis went a step further. Based on the diagnostic vehicle codes that showed, he believed that there was a recall to fix this problem. He researched the answers and gave us a number to call and explain the situation. Low and behold, Curtis was right. There are currently (3) recalls on my Lexus. I am receiving a new engine plus other repairs absolutely FREE from the Lexus dealership.
